Susan has dual qualifications as a Social Worker and Family and Systemic Psychotherapist. Susan has a Bachelor of Social Science, Master of Social Work and Master of Clinical Family Therapy and specialises in working with high conflict family relationships.

Susan has expertise working with the spectrum of family diversity with multiple generations together in the room, with a focus on perinatal mental health, couples and families.

Susan’s work is grounded in attachment, polyvagal, and Bowen theory with a strong trauma informed approach. Susan aims to support clients to develop an understanding of transgenerational patterns or interactions learnt in our family of origin and how they show up in the present and continue to cause us distress and maintain us to be stuck.

Susan works with clients to break patterns to strengthen closeness and build relational connection and safety. Individuals, families and family subsystems are welcomed.
